The Crisis


With a population of more than 200 million people, Uttar Pradesh is India's most populous state, roughly equal in size to Brazil, yet it reports the worst indicators in terms of health, education and economic empowerment.
Despite high political representation, efforts have not been able to reach out to the masses and translate into improved statistics. Uttar Pradesh also presents the greatest potential in terms of growth and development with its resources.

EDUCATIONAL PROJECTS

Uttar Pradesh is one of the most vulnerable and populous (19.95 crore as per 2011 census) state in India. However, it boasts the presence of 221,653 elementary schools. Education is treated as a sunrise sector in Indian economy.

By 2025, India’s demographic dividend is expected to contribute 25% of global workforce. However, out of 30 lakh graduates joining the Indian job market every year only about 5 lakh are considered employable.According to NSDC, the growing skills gap in India is estimated to be more than 25 crore workers by 2022.
